Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

Using SuperBooks

SuperBooks is a read/write interface for your QuickBooks data. By using it, you agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes or in ways that violate Intuit's Terms of Service for QuickBooks.

Your data

You own your data. SuperBooks acts as an interface to your QuickBooks account — we do not claim ownership of any financial records accessed through the app. You are responsible for the accuracy of any edits you make through the app.

Account access

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share access with people who should not have access to your financial data.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or data sync delays.

Limitation of liability

SuperBooks is provided as-is. We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on data viewed or exported through the app. Always verify critical figures directly in QuickBooks.

Billing and refunds

SuperBooks is a paid subscription billed through Paddle, our merchant of record. New subscriptions start with a free trial — cancel during the trial and you will not be charged. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; cancelling stops future charges and your access continues to the end of the current billing period. If SuperBooks isn't working out, email hello@superbooks.app within 30 days of a charge and we will refund that payment in full — no questions asked.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time by disconnecting your QuickBooks account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
